Since I’ve had mine 2 years ago I’ve noticed that every time I exercise my Fitbit stops detecting my heart rate. I don’t know if it’s as I’ve worked ups sweat or what but it kind of defeats the point of the object? Does anyone else have this issue or anyone know how to resolve this rather than taking it off every couple of minuted and wiping it and creating inaccurate data?

@CHMEL Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not detecting your heart rate during exercise. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device. Some users have used a sport wristband to easily remove excess sweat from the wrist are to help your tracker have a better heart rate reading.
Let me know how it goes.
