Charge 2 not tracking heart rate or staying charged

I have had my charge 2 for about 3 1/2 to 4 years now and it has been working great up until about a week ago. I noticed that it was not picking up my heart rate any more and would only display my resting when I checked it. Then a few days later it stopped tracking it all together. Next I noticed that it was dying more frequently, to the point that now I need to charge it almost twice a day just got it to be working.
