I just got a charge 2 a week or so ago. My sleep recorded the first night with no problem. But then it didn't record the second or third nights. Then I tried about 15 times to restart it as per the instructions and finally got it to record sleep for a few more nights. Now it didn't record last night's sleep again and this is driving me nuts. It's having issues syncing - I have to try about five times every time to get it to sync. I've tried to restart it a bunch of times and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I'm new to fitbit and I'm very frustrated. Can anyone help please?!!

Make sure you app is the latest version, then restart your Fitbit. It worked for me.

Thanks Bryan, but I didn't say I wasn't sleeping, I said the fitbit wasn't recording my sleep.

Thanks so much. It seems the windows app is probably the problem (I even deleted the app then reloaded it and it still isn't working right). But then I downloaded the iphone app and the sleep has been recording perfectly. I appreciate your reply.

I'm still having issues with the app recording steps and sleep. I have to uninstall the windows app and reinstall it weekly. This works for a while. Not sure how else to fix the problem.

It’s quite disturbing - how many people need to complain on the sleep tracker before we get a solution for the problem?
My Charger 2 tracked sleep accurately for 5 nights in a row and today has decided to strike.
If restarting ones device is the only solution Fitbit can come up with I want my money back.
I have put HR tracking on “ON” instead of auto, anyone knows how much more it will drain the battery?

I am so very disappointed in this Charger2. I got it for medical purposes to track sleep pattern and it does not do it. It is advertised to track stages of sleep but it fails more times than it tracks. I feel I have wasted my money.

Just got my Charge 2 HR on sunday. Since then it hasn't registered a proper night of sleep, with last night it not registering at all. I know I need to get a sleep study done, but I was at least hoping to use the Fitbit to help me monitor my sleeping.
