Charge 2 off hand but counting active minutes

Hello!

I‘m a very happy Fitbit user since 2017 🙂 I use Charge 2 and flex 2. Yesterday I put my charge 2 off hand and wasn‘t wearing any for 3 hours. In that time it was counting 45 active minutes??!! I am not able to delete it and somehow I am now rethinking all of the data that Fitbit shows 😞

How is that possible and is there any way to delete this active minutes.

It doesn‘t show any activity connected with active minutes. I tried to put manually the activity in that time and then to delete it but the active minutes stayed...

@Nana1110 A warm welcome to our Community!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 detective active minutes. This is odd. Did you leave your tracker near an electronic device that may cause vibrations (ac unit, fridge, computer, fan, etc). These vibrations may be detected as steps and count active minutes. Still I suggest you restart your tracker by following these instructions.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello Alvaro,

thank you for your answer and for the welcome 🙂

i just restarted the device but the ‚fake‘ active minutes are still there.
The bracelet was in the bathroom on my sink cabinet, not near any other electrical device...

Last two days seems to be everything ok. If it happens again I will write it here!

Thanks

@Nana1110 thank you for the update and sorry for the delay in mine.

Happy to hear that this didn't happen after the initial incident. If you need to overwrite data you can manually log a driving activity following these instructions.

I'll be around.
