Got a Charge 2 last Dec. 2017 as a gift from my kids . They bought the unit from Digital Walker , a distributor here in the Philippines . Over a week ago my units face just showed a flat line and i sent pictures via twitter to Fitbit and they just had someone email me about the problem . I was asking where the service center is in the Philippines and only to find out there is none?!
Since the unit is over the warranty period , I can’t use it anymore and they can still track the unit on line but apparently it’s the face that’s out of order . I have given up on this since they want me get the receipt and where it was purchased . So i have posted in FB and friends not to buy Fitbit since after 1 year , the unit you you have is disposable because you can’t have it repaired in the country . That’s how disappointed I am !!

@Eric1123 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Let me help you with your Charge 2 display and thank you for contacting our Support team. Since you talked to the team I guess they suggested you restart your device. Regarding the replacement or repair, Support does follow the guidelines listed in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
Let me know how it goes.

I don't mean to play devil's advocate, but if your device is out of the warranty, you shouldn't really be that upset. Without actually looking into the cause of the issue, you really can't rule out liquid damage or other factors that might have caused the problem to begin with. Fitbit actually suggests not even taking a shower with your tracker, doing dishes or other things. It is possible that just wear and tear that the device did quit working, but unless you had it repaired by either Fitbit or a third party service (since it's out of warranty) you will never know why it quit working in the first place.
