When I select the location setting and start the workout the timer, I get the message saying indicating that my heart rate was not being tracked. are their any requirements for this ?

@caramelXC Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your missing heart rate on your activities. Not sure why this may be happening so lets try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. On your tracker I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
