Charge 2 receives call notifications from iPhone 6s but not texts

My new charge 2 has never received text notifications but does buzz and show phone calls. I've made the iPhone 6s forget the Fitbit & reconnected over Bluetooth (with a new code). I've checked all notifications are on in the phone settings and Fitbit app (obviously including for calls). I've deleted the app several times and reinstalled. I've restarted my phone. What is wrong? Can you help?

@MandyLeigh A few different factors could be at play here, I would recommend:

1. Making sure that notifications is turned "On" on your Charge 2 itself. This can be done by holding Charge 2's button for 2-3 seconds when it is displaying its clock face.

2. Open your iOS settings > click on notifications > click Messages > and verify that "Allow Notifications" is toggled on.

3. Keep in mind that if you have an open message on your phone, you won't receive a notification on your Charge 2.

4. Lastly, if you manage multiple Bluetooth connections on your iPhone, this may be preventing you from receiving notifications. Click here for more information.

Thank you for your quick reply Derrick.
All the things you suggest we're ok but I'm still not receiving tests.
The only possible issue was that I did have multiple Bluetooth things listed as I had 3 cars, the Charge 2, a laptop and earphones on the list. Only the Charge 2 was connected but I deleted 2 of the cars and the laptop anyway.
I restarted the Charge 2 and phone again but it's still the same. Any ideas?

I Phone 6S, and also when I dial out on my phone the Fitbit Blaze starts vibrating as a ring tone after the phone has been answered at the other end which is really annoying.
