Charge 2 recording heart when not wearing device

Hi there, my Charge 2 records my heart rate even not wearing the device. Last night, I took it off around 20:00 and on syncing this morning, it showed on the app that my heart rate was at 156 at around 22:00 even though it was on my bedside table. This is not the first time this has happened, and the device often shows random heart rates when it is not being worn. Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this issue? Thank you
