Hi there. It has been 2 weeks, now, that I have noticed my Fitbit Charge 2 registering a heart rate when I’m not wearing it. Also registering my heart rate as 149 when I am at rest...that was frightening!!!
I have tried all the suggested ways to fix this issue and nothing is working. My charge 2 is just a year old. Please help.

@Raggydoll7 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 is showing heart rate when you aren't wearing it. Try restarting it then change the heart rate settings to off, sync it then use the Auto setting and sync again.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi there.
Since I last posted , my Charge 2 continues to be unreliable. Registering a heartrate whilst not wearing, heartrate at 160 while I am sitting, not tracking sleep and generally not doing what it used to do. I've had it for just over a year??? I reset and resynched and did all you asked. Has your product really only a shelf life of 1 year??? 2, I could accept but not 1 year. I paid £130 and I expect it to last longer.
Very disappointed as this device used to be my best friend. Now I can't be bothered wearing it and am thinking of switching to a different brand. Is there anything else I can do to fix it. Please don't tell me to do what I've already tried.
Regards
Morag Clark
