The face of my tracker is stuck on certain amount of steps  and when I sync with my phone it gives a different number

I too have the same issue. Started last night. Followed all the suggestions - no joy. Wondered if a hammer might help. Decided to delay that approach as it's clearly still working behind the scenes.

 

A slight addition to the symptoms is that the last couple of chargings have been needed after half the usual number of days. Possibly unrelated.
