Charge 2 - screen flickering and now just showing white lines!

Hello there!

My fitbit charge 2 started doing odd things about 2 weeks ago. First, it froze on the date screen and the button on the side seemed to do nothing to change that. Now, the screen is just showing white lines when activated. I have tried the restart when it is on the charger but that hasn't done anything. The weird thing is that it is still tracking my steps... but not my heart rate and i obviously cannot use the screen for anything.Help!

Many thanks in advance x

@spakeh A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear that your tracker isn't working as it should. Try cleaning the back of your tracker with cotton and rubbing alcohol. After this retry the restart to see if it now can make contact.

Let me know how it goes!

I am having a very similar problem. My charge 2 display screen seems to have shift ed up a few millimeters, hence chopping off the top of the display. On top of that, it started losing charge within an hour. Wondering if your issue is resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

@Saluja Thanks for stopping by!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 losing charge too quickly and its display shifting from the normal position. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.
