I really enjoyed the charge 2 HR while it lasted only about 1 1/2 years. The battery life is fading fast, and Fitbit was unable to replace it bc it was outside of the one year warrantee. I have a few issues with this. One, they offered a 20% off of older models, why not offer it on the charge 4 which at this point in time is comparable to the 2 when I purchased it?
Two, why should I spend another $150 on the the 4 when I can buy an Apple Watch series 3 for $199?
To be honest, this was not what I expected from a smaller company. Basically saying unless you purchase the warrantee, your going to have to buy a new one in 2 years. I would have rather support Fitbit, but I might have to buy the Apple Watch since they’re unwilling to appropriately compensate me for my broken Fitbit

@Rocas24 I hope you're doing well!
Sorry to hear about your damaged Charge 2. Support does follow the guidelines described in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. This is why they offer a discount to help customers in this situation. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
I'll be around.
