Charge 2 setting up to new phone

I cannot add my Charge 2 to my new phone. Old phone is broken and I have no access to it. I would like to pair it with my new phone but it is not happening.

@KadriB It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with this. You could simply log into your account (make sure you select the Log in option instead of Join Fitbit as the latter will try to create a new account) from the new phone, your tracker should still be set up there as it isn't dependent on the phone. Still if you wish to setup your tracker you could try clearing the connection between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
