Charge 2 showing yesterday's data and not syncing

any one know if there is a fix for this last update--husbands unit shows yesterdays data and will not charge, therefore will no sync.  my unit now thinks I have it paired with bluetooth and will not sync without pairing it (yes, I know I said it thinks it is paired and ask me to pair it) never have paired it!  Help, both units are now useless!

@scarv Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not updating its data nor syncing. About your husband's tracker not updating, has this happened before? This may happen when there is a change in timezone (due to travel or DST changes). You can restart your device as this will help it reset the following midnight but it won’t remove the steps from the affected date.

Regarding your tracker not syncing, you can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.

It is frozen with data from day he took it off to charge. Attempted restart several times old display remains on screen although it vibrates as I'd reset happened
