Charge 2 shows incorrect date and heart rate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The date is wrong and I have a heartbeat of 59 even when I am not wearing it. How do I get this to work properly? The date has reverted to 11 Dec and the time is way out. I have tried to sync it several times but nothing seems to work

@Rogerover, welcome! It's great to see you around!

Let me help you with you Charge 2 not updating its date and heart rate. For the date I suggest you try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Regarding the heart rate I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.

Let me know how it goes.
