Charge 2 steps did not reset at midnight

My steps did not reset this morning, it has continued from yesterday. How can I fix this?

@LP2019 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear that your steps didn’t reset at midnight. This may happen when there is a change in timezone (due to travel or DST changes). You can restart your device as this will help it reset the following midnight but it won’t remove the steps from the affected date.

You can restart your device as this will help it reset the following midnight but it won’t remove the steps from the affected date.

Thank you!! I restarted the device, and it corrected the problem!

How do I restart it. this is not due to a time zone change.  I put it on the charger and it is still frozen .I put it on the charger and nothing happened, it is still showing yesterday time and steps. is there anything elseI can do

@LP2019 thank you for the update and sorry for the late reply. Really happy to hear that your device is working fine now and thank you for confirming this as it may help other members in the same situation.

 

@Harlogirl you can find the restart instructions in my previous post. Also as explained this won't remove the incorrect steps but should help your device reset the following midnight.
