Charge 2 steps not being accounted/dissapeared

After my hike my Fitbit said I had over 23 thousand steps which was around 5:30 pm. An hour ago my Fitbit steps changed to 7,123, it’s 9pm now. What happened to my other steps? So confused

@Di1985 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your steps aren't showing on your account. This is odd. Did you log any activities for the affected date? Could you share a screenshot of your logged activities on your account? When was the last time you synced your tracker before this happened? If you logged any activities please delete them to recover your steps.
