For last 2 days my charge 2 is charging up fine but not holding its charge. After 12 hours I need to charge again. Before this it lasted around 5 days. I did an update a few days ago on software will this be the reason ? Can it be fixed ?

Mine stopped working a few weeks ago. Wouldn’t take a charge. So I ordered a new charger and now it’s working but the charge only lasts two days! Did anyone get a response from someone from Fitbit?

I called and spoke to help desk as now not syncing either. Tried multiple fixes but no joy. Want me to fork out for a new Fitbit when it's their fault mine isn't working !

Did you apply the new software update ? that's when mine stopped working.

At the end of June mine started vibrating while I was wearing it. No messages coming in, not alarms, etc. I could not stop the vibration and unit died. From that point on it would not hold a charge. The unit is 1.5 years old. It is a waste of money.

Mine has not been holding it's charge for about a three weeks now, was for 48/24 hrs then down to 12 hrs, then this week just 5 hrs and then yesterday and today for only 2 hrs at a time. Came in from doing exercise today and the charge only lasted less than 3 hrs I synced then was about to put on charge as almost dead and it started flashing the message "www.fitbit.com/setup" and now won't charge and won't turn off and has been flashing this message for the last 3hrs!

I experienced the exact same problem just a few days ago. After the software update it the steps totals didn't match after syncing and I started noticing other discrepancies. Then suddenly the battery didn't hold a charge. The company needs to take a look at this.

Mine automatically updates I think & it says I’m up to date on updates so I reckon it’s a problem with this if we’re all experiencing the same thing 😡 I emailed them yesterday tea time so waiting on a reply. Will post when I hear anything

Hi all, same here! For the last 2 days my Charge 2 doesn't charge- the moment i plug it in it says 100%, i leave it on the charger for an hour and still it doesn't hold its charge more than 2-3 hours, doesn't track any exercise, sleep, heart rate. It also started vibrating often without any reason and the green lights are extremely bright suddenly. Finally, when I woke up this morning, it was of course dead, then it started flashing the message "www.fitbit.com/setup" and now won't charge and won't turn off and this message is all I see! Have this for almost 1 year, do these things die so early and without warning? Did anyone find a solution? Good luck all

I phoned yesterday. Spent 45 mins with help team trying to fix but could not. Maybe report your too.More reports they might take problem seriously!

No solution apart from 25% discount on a new one ! which I'm not having. Its Fitbit problem so why should I buy a new one !

My Charge 2, also stopped holding a charge. Now it only stays on for 2-3 minutes. Side note: it says my software is up to date. Yes I’ve cleaned the contacts on watch and charger.

I’ve just been told in an online chat that the warranty is 2 years. So if anyone is less than 2 years you should get a new one! They also said I would get a 45% discount but in the email link it’s only 25%’

Pollykettle read the reviews on Google play store. Hundreds of people complaining about glitch in new software update. They will need to roll out a patch. Give it time and fingers crossed we will be up and running soon. Customer Services or Fitbit should be issuing a statement to all their customers.

My charge 2 fitbit will charge but the charge will only last for about 5-8 hours where it use to hold the charge for about 5 days or more. The display on the back is orange/red. I cleaned the contact area with cotton and rubbing alcohol and it still doesn't work...any suggestions on what to do?
