Charge 2 stopped receiving text and call notifications

I have a samsung S7. Text, call and calendar notifications have worked for years. Now I cannot get any phone data to send the notifications to my Charge 2. I have read all the troubleshooting posts. I have uninstalled app, removed charge 2, unpaired and re-paired, turned BT on and off, rebooted Charge 2, in every possible combination. Checked and rechecked all my phone, watch, apps settings and all are as they should be. Nothing seems to work. This started sometime last week. I have the latest version of app and firmware. Other than my phone and app updates I have made no other changes. Other notifications such as reminders to move and reaching step goals do work.

I also have a Flex 2 that I use only on occassion. I turned on call and text notifications for it just as a test and that does work.  So only the Charge 2 is not receiving BT communitcation from my phone. So what are my next steps to get this to work again?
