Charge 2 stopped syncing and now wont pair

My charge 2 was having difficulty syncing (taking 10 attempts before successfully syncing) so impaired the device and now wont pair again on Samsung a8. Have looked through the threads and tried the following with no luck:

- restarted phone

- uninstalled and reinstalled Fitbit app

- restarted the Fitbit

- tried pairing with Fitbit on and off charge

- deleted pairing through bluetooth and tried to repair 

- tried to link to a laptop and the website but wont work.

How can I make this connect as was bought to track exercise, sleep etc but now it wont transfer so not much use.

Let me help you syncing your Charge 2 with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Dear @AlvaroFitbit 

I have tried soft resetting my phone and restarting my Fitbit but this has not worked. I also followed all advise in the link with no success. After all these processes all I can do is get to the point of entering a pin to sync and then nothing happens.

Please can you provide any other suggestions as to how to sync my charge 2 as I have not had any further responses in 3 weeks?

Ça fait plus de 24 jrs que ça se synchronise plus....très très déçue !

 

Trouvez moi des solutions autres que celles mentionnées svp
