Charge 2 stopped syncing and won't connect

A month ago my fitbit charge 2 stopped syncing with my phone. My android phone will find it on bluetooth and I will get the 4 digit code, but then it will fail. I have restarted my fitbit, restarted my phone, turned bluetooth off and on, tried to connect with my phone's bluetooth, erased and reset bluetooth devices, force quit the app, deleted the app and reinstalled it, and nothing has worked. It's not a phone problem because my phone is able to connect to my other devices.

I am having the same issues and cannot help wondering if it is titbits way of getting us to upgrade to a new model. I can sometimes get it to work... but every day it is more of a struggle.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Maddymack. It's nice to see you again in our Community Forums, @Tessfully.

@Maddymack Thank you for sharing the details of the issue you’re experiencing. I recommend trying the following:

  1. Turn on 'always allow' for location services.
  2. Restart your mobile device.
  3. Confirm the steps to restart the Charge 2: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Set Up a Device.

  5. Choose your Fitbit from the list and follow the onscreen instructions.

You can confirm the complete troubleshooting instructions at Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

I have been having this problem since earlier this year - will sync fine with an old iPhone that I no longer use but will not sync with my Pixel3- started after an android update - have been through to support and they have told me I need to but a new fitbit which I don't understand as it is syncing just not with an android

Have tried all steps above to no avail

Hi, I am also experiencing the problem and my charge 2 won't sync with my google Pixl phone. Do you have an estimate timeframe when this is expected to be resolved?

Same thing here - only my phone is a pixel 2 XL.  It worked just fine until about mid-October and I haven't been able to get it to do anything since then. The app says it synced last on December 6 but my watch still thinks it's November 17 so I don't know what's going on.
