Charge 2 stopped syncing ove a month ago

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had a charge 2 and which syncs with my Samsung Galaxy 8s for about a year and a half, no problems until January 1st, 2019 when it stopped syncing.  I've restarted both devices. Removed and reconnected the Bluetooth connections.  When I try to force a sync, it just tells me that it is scheduled and will occur soon, but gives me no manual override option to force the sync.  Any ideas? The help topics don't seem to cover this issue.

@danrstevens  It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear that your tracker isn't syncing and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional suggestions here.

Also please be aware that Android users are having issues syncing with Android 9 (Pie), you can check this thread to keep up to date with this.

Let me know how it goes.

Under Settings>apps>fitbit>permissions> there is no Bluetooth option (the listed options are: Camera, Contacts, Location (on), Phone, SMS, Storage.)  Also, this last time when I removed all Bluetooth devices from my phone, the phone was unable to find the fitbit device to reconnect.  So it appears the Bluetooth function on my fitbit is not working?

My Bluetooth reads it. I’ve got notifications turned on...
I’ve Updated all the apps turn the phone on and off it is definitely reading it but I’m not getting notifications. It does tell me when it’s time to move them so I’m getting that notification.
