Charge 2 stuck showing the same time and date

Have not been able to restart my Charge 2. Changed the clock face and now locked.

Hey @Mamacorr , have you tried connecting your fitbit charge 2 on its charger and holding the button for 5-10 seconds? If not, try and see if that works. 1. Connect device to its charger. 2. Make sure your fitbit vibrates and shows that it is charging. 3. Hold the button on your charge 2 for 5-10 seconds. 4. Wait until the fitbit logo is displayed on screen. Then of course turn it back on.

I tried as you recommended:
 
1. Connect device to its charger. 
2. Make sure your fitbit vibrates and shows that it is charging. 
3. Hold the button on your charge 2 for 5-10 seconds. 
4. Wait until the fitbit logo is displayed on screen. Then turn it back on.

But without success. My Charge 2 reverted to my normal watch face at 12:40 today but has not changed since then. Now 04:24.

Hello again @Mamacorr, so your charge 2 did not successfully restart? Or did it successfully restart? Your clock face may have changed to its normal clock face because your fitbit has been restarted. I think you might have to go back to the fitbit app and change it. It may take a min for the clock face you've selected to show up on your charge 2 because it hasn't synced yet. In that case, make sure you refresh/sync your fitbit after you select your new clock face. And what was locked before? Your fitbit, or the clock face? Is it still locked?

My Charge 2 is charged and it vibrates. I have turned off Bluetooth, and restarted. When connecting, the App asks for a code to connect but my Charge 2 does not respond and has not shown any movement since12:40 (presumably 00:40) on 23May20.

Therefore, as it is not connected, it cannot sync. Your help is much appreciated.

    After you have charged your fitbit, did you turn bluetooth back on and make sure in the bluetooth menu on your phone it says that your charge 2 is paired with your device? Or is it listed in the paired devices list? If not, in bluetooth scan for unpaired devices/ devices and wait until charge 2 pops up. And if your charge 2 pops up, select it and then it should be connected to your phone by bluetooth. Note:  Your fitbit charge 2 will only respond to the fitbit app and other things on your phone, unless or when your charge 2 is connected to bluetooth.

 

Can you think of any pictures of your charge 2 that will help me figure out the problem? For example, what your charge 2 screen looks like. Or any screenshots of what the fitbit app says. Because I think we may be getting closer to solving your problem and pictures could help. If you are not able to provide any pictures, its ok. We can work around. Overall, make sure bluetooth is on and connected to your fitbit. Once connected to bluetooth, your charge 2 should be able to sync and or display the code that has been asked for by the app. And are you connecting your fitbit to an already existing account? And thank you. I promise to try to get you through this problem and get your charge 2 working right.

Oh, and another thing @Mamacorr  that may cause the issue is your location, please make sure your location services on your phone is on and working and also make sure that the fitbit app has permission to access your location. If you have gotten to that step yet, on the fitbit app it may have asked or will ask you later on if you want to allow fitbit to access your location. In that case, select allow.👍

I have just paired the APP on my iPhone with my Fitbit Charge 2 but the screen did not respond to the request to show the number on the tracker's display. The screen has been frozen for the whole day today. Small vibrations do occur suggesting that the Tracker is charged.

 

I put in a false number 9999 and the App tried to connect to the Fitbit. And a second time 4444, connecting to Fitbit but no success. The screen remains Frozen.

 

I tried to send a photo of the frozen screen:

Ok, so the app is on your phone. That's a good start. First, I will try to explain how to insert pictures. But before I explain, what device are you using right now to communicate with me? Is it your iphone? Computer? And you made sure already that your fitbit is paired with bluetooth? And your location is on?

I turned bluetooth back on and made sure in the bluetooth menu on my phone that it says that my charge 2 is ready to be paired. It finds the tracker and is ready to pair the tracker - but this step is not working. The Fitbit does not respond with the code for pairing - because if appears to be frozen. 

I am connecting my fitbit to an existing account.

I am using my Apple Desktop computer to respond to you at this moment. My Charge 2 is shown as connected to my phone.

I then try and set up the Fitbit following the clear instructions and the App on the Phone screen says Pair Your Tracker but this is not working. The f=Fitbit does not provide a 4 digit code.

The App is working. It finds my Tracker via Bluetooth and then proceeds to Pair with the Tracker. But the Tracker does not provide a code.

It is sort of odd that your charge 2 is not showing a code even though your charge 2 is connected to bluetooth. While Im doing some research on that feel free to fiddle around with it a bit and think of any other things they may be the prob. Ill get back to you once I find something or have any more suggestions. By the way, are you using your phone or a computer right now to contact me? I'm curious because I was going to explain or show you how to insert pictures from your device.

Dear M.Son, my Fitbit status has not changed during the past day. It is still locked with the same screen. And I have not being able to connect to it - it is not giving the code. What are the next steps, please.
