How to insert pictures:

1. At the top of your message, there will be all sorts of different icons listed.

2. Find the camera icon at the top and select.

3. Select choose files

4. To find your recent pictures you have taken, select recent.

5. Select which photo or photos of your charge 2 you would like to show.

6. Once your photos are selected, select the button that says ¨open¨

7. Once you have selected ¨open¨ your picture or pictures may take a moment to upload. But when they are all done, somewhere on your screen there will be a blue colored ¨Done¨ button. You will select that a then your picture(s) should be posted with your message.

Note: The instructions may not be the same, or look the same because of which device you are using to communicate with me right now. May I know what device you are using at the moment to contact me?

Alright great! Nice, you got the pictures working. Ok, I've done some research on your problem. Some people have had the same problem as well. The only key that comes up for fixing your locked fitbit charge 2 display is...:

¨You can try cleaning the tracker's contacts with a toothpick or toothbrush then use cotton with rubbing alcohol. After this fully charge your tracker by plugging it for a couple of hours and restart your tracker a few times by doing the following:

Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.¨

This was marked as the best answer I have seen so far. So, please try this again.

Let me know how it goes! If it doesn't work I will consider something else and I will also consider finding some help from a fitbit moderator. I will look in to finding one for you. And I will think of some other things to solve the problem. It's kind of a lot to process and put together. I'm trying to put it all together. We will work it out.

Thank you M. Son. I have followed your instructions and cleaned the contacts.

I have plugged the tracker into its charger and made sure that it snapped securely.

I pressed the Tracker's button for 12 seconds - the "frozen" screen showing 12:40 23May came on, but not the firmware version.

Please excuse me as I have to care for my sick wife. I will log on again tomorrow.

Thank you, Malcolm

Good, ok. Ah, I've seen this exact problem somewhere on this website someone had or has. I will do some more investigating on that. Oh ok, well you're definitely excused. I hope your ill wife is not too sick, and I hope that the incident does not worsen and your wife gets better soon. And your welcome, anytime. Talk to you soon!

Thank you M.Son. My wife is recovering from an undiagnosed blood disorder and was in hospital for 14 weeks until late February 2020. Now off to bed and looking forward to hearing about the potential solution to my Fitbit problem. Regards, Malcolm

Dear AlvaroFitbit. Amazingly, at 11:40 today, without any action taken by me, my Fitbit Charge 2 defrosted and came back to life. I have taken 4,833 steps and all is OK. I am delighted.
Thank you to the Fitbit Connunity
