I've had a Charge 2 for around a year and a half and it has been working fine for months; usually seems to hold a charge now for around 4 days. Synching via a Samsung Galaxy S8. Starting last Friday I've had it go flat in under a day three times (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and from 100% battery at 8am today its down to 75% in five hours. Nothing has changed in the Android app setting from my perspective. Has the hardware died, or is there some form of complete reset I can give it to get it back to how it was?

@ajft Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!
Let me help you with your Charge 2's battery draining in a day. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.
Let me know how it goes.

I don't have any problem charging it so I don't understand why cleaning it will help. It charges to 100%, the app says that it has reached 100%. It then goes flat in under a day. It never used to do this, and suddenly started it three days ago.
At the moment I can't restart it or do anything because, once again, it has gone dead flat while I was wearing it overnight (from 50% at around 10pm). Its currently on the charger
