Tried those steps but still had no notifications on Fitbit.
Then found out that if you press and hold the button on the side you can turn notifications on and off !

I completed all the steps including receiving the 4 digit code but it did not solve my issue. I'm still not receiving notifications or reminders. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi
Did you try pressing and holding the button on the side of your Fitbit?

Thank you so much!! It fixed it! I'm not sure why the notifications got turned off, but I'm happy to have them back!!

Turning on notification on my actual fitbit (not that app) did the trick and got it work. I guess I unknowingly turned off notification on the device itself. No need to delete the app, or re-pair the device to my phone.

Did you try the suggestion from a few months ago that said to turn off the Bluetooth connection, delete the app, and then reinstalling it? It didn't work for me but it seemed to work for others.

I have tried doing all of those things and still can't get texts through. Calls do come through however. All of my notifications are set on my iPhone 6s Plus and are set in the app too. I have done all of the online trouble shooting and paired it twice 😞 any other suggestions? Just to add, I only bought the Fitbit yesterday so the texts have never worked, thanks

Hey @Steffy85, no sweat. Your devices are communicating because you are getting call notifications - issue is chat notifications, my guess is you turned them off on your iPhone because they were irritating on your mac desktop, just turn'em back on:
Go to settings, then messaging to get the controls...
Hope it helps, let us know 🙂

Hi. I just tried this but it didn't work for me. I followed all the steps but my Fitbit just paired fine without sending any code. My notifications are all on but my Fitbit doesn't show the text messages or phone calls I receive still. Please help. It's a Fitbit Charge 2

I too had the same issue as others and followed the procedure and it worked. However, unlike the charge HR, the charge 2 does not show the caller unles you raise the hand or tap the Fitbit so that you wake up the Charge 2 and until then it keeps vibrating. Is there any solution to this.

I tried everything and it wasn't working! Then I was going through my Fitbit screen and realized I had the notifications turned off from the physical Fitbit.
So make sure in the app you have notifications as a menu option and the. Try turning it on from pushing the buttons on your Fitbit

Hi, I've followed your advice multiple times. It will pair, I get data and everything from the device to the phone, however the notifications on the Device still read that they are turned "Off" and no matter what I try to do, I can't seem to turn the notifications to "On". Not on the device or through the web or through the app on the phone - a Google Pixel.
Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks, Susan

Solved my issue. I did not know how to 'turn on' notifications on my device.
I thought tapping it would turn it on. You have to long press your watch button and then it will toggle on and off.
Thanks, Susan

none to offer, my guess is a Google Pixel thing, watch for updates to the Charge 2, as soon as google and microsoft shares code, our App gurus set features in action...
I thought only windows didn't play nicely with notifications; but it appears Google has got ahead of themselves too, sorry for the delay @swolak
You might try one more time; here are the step by steps for Android set up for notifications.
