Charge 2 text notifications disconnect overnight

Hi everyone, 

 

I’m not exactly sure when it started but it’s been for some time now. Somehow overnight, my fitbit charge 2 stops connecting through bluetooth and I won’t get text notifications throughout the day anymore. Calls still come in perfectly fine but for some reason, I don’t get the text notifications anymore. Every morning I have to “forget the device” on bluetooth and reconnect it through the fitbit app. It says that the fitbit is synced through the bluetooth so I’m unsure why this is happening. Has anyone else had trouble with this and can tell me what to do?

Let me help you with your Charge 2 notifications and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Log out from the app, restart your phone, log back in and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
