Charge 2 tracks steps every day but doesn't put them in the history for the week. Windows 10/PC

My charge 2 shows the tracked steps every day but they do not get saved for the week.  Even after it transfers data to the dashboard, it shows an old syc date when the last data was saved to history.  I'm using a PC with the latest Windows 10.

@Phil14228 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your missing step data on your account. You can try the following:

  • Go to your PC's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your PC and restart your device
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

After this retry syncing your device. You could also try syncing via your phone or tablet.

Let me know how it goes.

Tried it, didn't help.  Now it doesn't update the dashboard either.  Still shows old last sync date.  Can I replace the app without losing my history.

Thanks

I tried it and it didn't help.  Now, the dashboard doesn't show my current data.  I get a moving bar on the dashboard as if it is syncing.  The blue tooth on the computer says it is paired.  My other blue tooth devices are OK.  Can the app be corrupted?  Can I reinstall the app without losing all my history?
Thanks

@Phil14228 thank you for the update and sorry for the delay in mine.

Did you try the suggestions on the link in the third bullet point? Yes you can uninstall and reinstall the app, still the data hasn't synced yet to your account.

Keep me posted.
