I updated the Fitbit app on my yesterday 2/29. As of yesterday my Fitbit would just turn off randomly, I would press the side button and nothing would happen. A few hours later it would turn back on, showing a time 3 hours earlier than it was. Happened multiple times since the update. I tried charging my device last night, shows it was charging but didn’t. Any ideas?

Let me help you with your Charge 2 turning off and not charging and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Thanks I have tried 99% of this. How do I restart my device? That I’m not sure I’ve done correctly.

You can find the restart instructions on my previous post. Just click on where it says "restart your device". See if this helps you resolve the issue.
