Charge 2 unresponsive after deleting from Fitbit app

Hi,

 

I upgraded from a Charge 2 to a Versa 2. When I deleted the Charge 2 from my app (Pixel 3) the Charge 2 screen went black. The battery was fully charged when I removed it. I tried resetting it (connected to charger and holding power button down for 10 seconds 3 times in a row) and had no results. The device is not vibrating when it is plugged in or displaying any lights.

 

I have tried the following:

- Resetting multiple times

- holding the button when it is not attached to charger

- changed power sources

- Read every suggestion available via Google. 

- Left it charging (ensured connections met) for 12 hours.

 

How do I resolve this? I received the Charge 2 on Xmas day 2017 and aside from the firmware update removing text notifications and the green light never turning off I haven't had any issues with it.
