Charge 2 will not sync with Android (8.1.0) Lenovo phone

I have to reestablish the relationship by uninstalling the Charge 2 device every couple of days. It then works fine. It seems to sync with my Fire tablet without any problems. The phone stopped working consistently about two months ago. It connects to other bluetooth devices just fine. Am I doing something wrong?

Let me help you syncing your Charge 2 with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
