 My Fitbit Charge 2 will stay on its charger all night, but when i take it off will only stay on for about an hour or 2. Is there a battery I can replace? Mind you I've had it for about 5 years.

I am having the same problem. First, my fitbit wasn't keeping time. it would be a couple minutes behind, then more. It was about 5 minutes slow and I plugged it in over night. The next time morning when I took it off the charger, the time was way off. It showed fully charged but only stayed charged for about 2 hours. I tried charging it again. The same thing happened. It is about 1 1/2 years old. 

 

I am getting a little frustrated as I had a Charge before this and it lasted barely a year. We got a Fitbit alta for my son. I never was able to get it to sync. 

 

I have a put a total of $450 into fitbit and I have only been able to us it for 2 1/2 years. Is this a common problem?
