Charge 2 with phone's GPS adds distance to run

My last 2 runs on my Fitbit and Strava are showing that I’m doing a lot more km than I am therefore affecting my pace, my normal pace is around 8 mins per km it now showing between 4 1/2 - 6 1/2 which definitely isn’t me 😂, but the mapping seems to be adding maybe 2km to each run which means it is my GPS which is wrong, has anybody else had same problem. Thank you

@Slowrun Thanks for stopping by!

Let me help you with your GPS distance detection. Let's try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
