Charge 2 won’t connect to iPhone 7

I have a charge 2. I am trying to sync it to my iPhone 7. iOS is 11.2.1. I follow the instructions but nothing happens but “searching”.

Trun on bluetooth and location. Then go to your settings and connect to 'Charge 2'. Then go back ti the fitbit app and give i about 1min. While it says syncing/connecting to fitbit charge 2, turn the screen on your phone off (click power button once quick) just for about 30sec then turn the screen back on (click power button once quick) and it should be connected and update the info from the fitbit app... To the charge 2.

@Rfl Besides following the tips @ilovemymaggieba provided you can try restarting your phone and then restart your Charge 2 by doing the following:

Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.

After this make sure bluetooth and internet (wifi or mobile) are on and have a strong signal. If you are trying to setup your tracker just tap the account button (top right corner) then tap the Setup a Device button and follow the instructions. If you are trying to sync your tracker then just open then app and a sync will start automatically. If you are trying to do something else then provide as much information as you can so I can better assist you.

I still cannot pair my charge 2 with my iPhone 7.  It’s stuck on “searching”!..

this is my third replacement  and none of them could be paired!!!
