Charge 2 won't connect to my new phone or receive notifications

I got a new phone samsung galaxy J7 crown.

My fitbit charge 2 pairs with it, but it wont connect. It is keeping track of my steps, but I am not seeing my texts or calls on my fitbit. I have uninstalled app, I have turned bluetooth on & off. I have even reset my fitbit. Please advise! Thank you!

I'm lost without my calls & texts vibrating on my fitbit. Lol

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?
