My fitbit charge 2 worked fine up until the other day when the battery completely drained. I put it on charge over night like I normally do when it needs charging. The next morning I put it on as usual to get on with my day and by the time I got downstairs the battery was dead again.
I've cleaned the back of the fitbit and the charger plus move sockets and USB port but makes no difference the fitbit won't hold the charge.
Is there something I could try or is it a case of I need a new fitbit?

Please try the tips that are listed in this help page in order to improve the battery life of your Fitbit device. After this, monitor the battery's behavior and see if the issue gets fixed.
