Recently my charge 2 stopped monitoring my heart rate and the green lights never shut off which runs the battery down so the battery won’t hold a charge for longer than a day. I’ve tried restarting, letting the battery go completely dead before charging and nothing has helped. I’m very frustrated and disappointed in Fitbit, I’m an older, disabled woman and I can’t afford to replace my Fitbit every 18 months, any suggestions??

@Grannyjoy A warm welcome to our Community!
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not recording your heart rate or holding a charge. For the heart rate reading I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Regarding the battery life try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.
Let me know how it goes.

Well I tried all your suggestions, my Charge 2 is holding a Charge a little better but as far as reading the heart rate no such luck, just not happening, very discouraging 😔

Have you tried Factory resetting it?

Well I’m sad to say that once again my charge2 isn’t holding a charge and still won’t monitor my heart rate. I’m very disappointed, I really enjoyed my charge2 while it lasted, it’s lifespan just isn’t long enough for me 🤷:female_sign:
