Got a Charge 2 for Xmas, went to fitbit com/setup and created account. Tried to pair the Charge 2 to my desktop computer (Windows 10 & Bluetooth 4) but the pairing fails. When I go to Bluetooth it finds the Charge 2 OK and is ready to pair but I get the failure message that the pairing hasn't worked as the device is not discoverable.

I finally called and they went through everything possible with me. Nothing worked so they had me ship it back to get a replacement

I called customer service and they went over it with me again and again trying to sync it.. After awhile they finally told me i'd have to mail it back and get a replacement. I did so and got my replacement and have not had a problem since.. Maybe it will work for you as well..?

I have just returned my 3 month old fitbit Alta Hr because the blue tooth failed. It has been replaced by a Charge 2 but neither my PC windows 10 app or my Samsung Tab can find the Tracker let alone pair it.
Any ideas /

Does the tsblets Bluetooth show the tracker as connected. If so you will need to turn the tablet off when setting up with the computer .
I assume your Fitbit account does not show the tracker as setup

My new Charge2 isn't recognised by any of my 3 devices, (I know my Huawei phone is incompatible).
My previous Alta HR worked well with my Samsung tablet until the bluetooth on the tracker failed. I wondered if that tracker being still on my account could be causing a problem. But I can't understand why my laptop can't find the new tracker.

It is not a problem having the alta HR attached.
When you set it up on the Charge 2 at what step does it fail at, and in what way does it fail?? Saying it failed without saying why does not provide us with any clues .

@Bros5 make sure the tablet is at least 30-50 feet away or turned off before trying to sync through the computer.
Also I would remove the trsckertfrom the computers Bluetooth screen

Let's be clear, after four pages of support requests in this one thread: the Charge 2 does not work properly with standard Bluetooth in Windows 10. Period. I have used a One with my laptop's Bluetooth for years. To debug this infuriating problem with my new Charge 2, I removed the One from the Fitbit app, removed it from my Bluetooth connections, and then tried once again to connect the Charge 2, both via the Win 10 Fitbit app, and directly in the Win 10 Bluetooth settings. My laptop (a high-end, standard configuration Lenovo) has no trouble re-connecting with the One, both via Win settings and the Fitbit app. It is only the Charge 2 - which is recognized by Win 10 but which WILL. NOT. PAIR. - that has this problem. Sending me a dongle that I have to use AND turn off my Bluetooth is not acceptable. Fitbit has a problem with the Charge 2 that it refuses to acknowledge. This is not OK.

To request help from Fitbit support , please tap your picture above, then tap contact support. This is still the best way to request support from Fitbit .
The community board is for the community members to support each other. It is not designed to receive support directly from Fitbit. Sorry.
