Charge 2 won't pair with phone

Have a charge 2, it has died, it won't charge, wife has one she doesn't use, so have removed devices from both accounts, now trying to pair charge 2 with pixel 2, same issue as everyone else, it gets to the 4 digit code, then fails, have tried resets, restarts, bluetooth on/off, apps, webpage log ins, you tube videos, nothing, is this the end?

Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you clear the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
