I completely charged my Charge 2 last night and synced it to my phone. It said the battery was full. About 3 hours later the screen of my Charge 2 was black and it won't turn on. The green sensor lights on the back are also not working. I tried plugging it into the charger and resetting it but nothing happens. I know it isn't dead but don't know what else to do!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @KaylaP12! Thanks for already troubleshooting this inconvenience with your Charge 2, nice way to go!
I know you've completely charged your tracker the day before you wrote here, but, have you tried charging it at least 1 hour after what happened? Even if you don't get anything on the screen I'd recommend charging your tracker at least 1 hour to see if the battery icon comes up after that period of time. Charging fully takes about one to two hours.
If after the 1-2 hours you don't get anything on the display, check if the contacts on your tracker or charging cable are not dirty. Dust and debris can accumulate over time and prevent a charge. Try cleaning them by following these instructions.
How do you charge your buddy? Have you checked if by any chance the USB port or outlet is faulty? If you haven't done so, try a different port. A UL-certified wall charger will also work. Don't use a USB hub.
If so, plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or a UL-certified USB wall charger.
Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the watch until attaches magnetically.
Also, I'd like you to please confirm if these were the steps you tried in order to perform the restart:
Give this a shot and let me know the outcome!

Hi @MarreFitbit! Thank you for all the suggestions! I cleaned my charger ports and changed both the outlet and the port but still am getting nothing but a black screen on my fitbit. I've tried charging it and get no response, no vibration, nothing on the screen. Not sure what else to try! Any other ideas would be appreciated! Thanks for your help!

I am also having this problem but the green lights are flashing which they don’t usually do. They usually are a constant green light. I have plugged in my Fitbit for charge so hopefully it was just the battery which I know it still had charged before I went to sleep. Screen is completely black and won’t turn on or reset. Don’t even know if it is actually charging...

I have the same problem, the battery was empty and when I now want to charge my fitbit charge 2 he vibrates, I see the icon of the battery. It seems like he is charging, but after 2 hours nothing happens.
The green sensor lights on the back are not working. Please help.

I ended up contacting Fitbit directly. They were super helpful but unfortunately weren't able to fix the problem. Since my Fitbit is still under warranty they are sending me a new Fitbit!
