@Emil3645 A warm welcome to our Community!!! Try cleaning your tracker's contacts with a toothpick or toothbrush and then use cotton with rubbing alcohol. After this plug it for a couple of hours. If you are using a computer make sure it is plugged directly to the usb port (don't use hubs) or you can try using an UL Listed usb wall adapter like the ones that come with phones. Also try restarting your tracker by doing the following:

Plug the charging cable to your computer or UL certified wall adapter.
Align the contacts of the tracker with the charging cable and plug it in making sure it snaps securely.
Your tracker should start charging.
Press the button for 10 to 12 seconds.
You should see your tracker's firmware version and you can now unplug your tracker.

Let me know how it goes!

@moptop0922 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Thank you for following my suggestions. If your tracker isn't lighting up even after trying my suggestions then it would be better if you either go back to the seller and request an exchange or contact our Support team for assistance. They will be able to provide options to get you back on track. You will receive an email from them.

Keep me posted!

I did this last night. I also cleaned the contacts on the charger itself. So far, in about 90 minutes, it has dropped from 100% to 85% with no exercise other than normal daily activities. Will continue to monitor it over time and note why activities I engage in.

@Kiana1008 @Sitorgit Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! @Kiana1008 Sorry to hear that your tracker isn't working and thank you for trying the suggestions in my previous post. Usually the warranty is for 12 months like @Sitorgit mentioned. You can check the warranty details here. Still I could see that you have a ticket with Support so I wanted to know if they were able to help you?

I look forward to your reply!

 hi

I have followed the suggestion about cleaning  and restarting. Still doesn't work.

I was gifted charge 2 about 3 years ago. Any further suggestions?

Thanks

For anyone trying to revive a seemingly "dead" Charge 2, this works: Put the charge 2 into the charger and plug in. Press the button and hold for 4 seconds then wait a second and repeat 2 more times. The Fitbit logo should come on. If this doesn't work the first time, repeat the process a second time. It is important to stick to this timing. I have reset many smart bulbs and each has its own pattern of on/off. Hope this helps. The Charge 2 I gave to my husband after I got my new Charge 4 had this problem. I had almost given up bringing it to life. Good luck!

Thanks @Mallwalker47. Tried but did not work. Last option is to buy a new charger but since its an old model getting a fitbit charge is difficult.  Anyway thank you for your help.

This did not work for me. Something may be wrong with the charger. On the face all that will show is what looks like a battery with a line in the middle which blinks a couple of times, then shuts down. Or possibly the battery is about dead and will not charge? Any ideas?
