I've tried everything that the forums have said to do while trying to connect my Charge 2 with my phone(s). I tried with my old phone first, the one it was orginally paired to. And it doesnt connect. (I disconnected it first) It does not show in bluetooth settings so I cannot manually disconnect it there. I tried connecting it to my new phone and it wont connect to that either. I restarted the Fitbit and the phone(s), I uninstalled/reinstalled the fitbit app, I turned bluetooth off/on, I restarted the devices again. Nothing that I have seen posted to the forum has helped.
Any idea why?

Hey there @VoidHeart, welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thanks for letting me know about this! I'd be happy to help you out!.
Since you've already tried reinstalling the app, my guess is that your phone might not be running the latest software. To use the Fitbit app, your phone needs to have:
You can usually find this information in your phone's settings.

@VoidHeart That's amazing, let's try some other steps!
Since you have an Android, let's try deleting the cache and clearing the data for the app.
This won't erase the app itself, but it will essentially reset it. You'll be logged out of your account, so you'll need to sign back in afterward.
Give that a try and let me know how it goes!

That unfortunately also did not work. Heres the steps Ive done since trying to connect it in the first place
Simply connect it to my phone using the Fitbit App. It used to be linked to my account but it wasn't resyncing. I tried resyncing it a handful of times and it wouldnt work. So I disconnected it. This is when the problems started. I started looking up how to fix it, because I love my little Fitbit, and would like to continue using it. I saw a few posts, much like this one, that said to restart the watch and phone. I did both. It still wouldnt connect. I saw another post that said uninstall and reinstall the app. Still wouldnt connect. I "factory reset" the Fitbit. It wont connect. I saw someone having trouble connecting because of their wireless keyboard/mouse dongle. I unplugged that and then tried again. I still got the error message. I even plugged the fitbit into my phone with an adapter. I still got the error message after about 5 minutes.
I cleared the cache, and data, for the app. And it had my log back in, but I am still unable to connect the Charge 2 with my A15.
Apologies for the troubles.

We're having a similar problem with my wife's Charge 2, which was working fine until her phone updated itself to Android 15 earlier this week. Since then, the phone and watch simply won't communicate. We've tried all the suggestions from various sources, up to and including resetting the WiFi and Bluetooth on the phone, nothing has worked. The watch doesn't show in the available devices in the Android Bluetooth settings and trying to connect (as a new device) via the Fitbit app cycles for ages and then reports an error.
My guess is that this is a compatibility problem between the Android 15 Bluetooth implementation and that of the Charge 2, and it is very annoying.
