Charge 2...wont sync to new phone

I have recently updated my android phone from samsung s9, to samsung a51. 

The charge 2, is "found" during set up but from then, i get nothing. I have turned the phone on and off, I have deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit  app, turned Bluetooth on and off. All to no avail. 

A bit stumped as what to do now? Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Is your phone on the supported list?

 

It takes time to test and make sure they work. New phones come out on a daily basis

It seems the a51 is not supported 😞 

I found a thread about the a50 from last year which said the same. This is really frustrating, glad I didn't go and buy a Versa now as I'm sure I would have the same problem.

I could then try and set up on my Chrome book, but I anticipate that is not supported either. Not sure what to do now.
