Hello Fellow FitBitters. My fitbit suddenly stopped synching today and despite turning Bluetooth on and off, turning phone Samsung S8 on and of,f I decided to reinstall the app. Went to log back on and it says its not connected to the interweb… it chuffing well is!!! have tried turning internet on and off but nothing is making the app see the connection. tried to start a live chat with fitbit helpline but no one came back to me :(. would really appreciate any suggestions on how to get it to establish the connection.

Following. I have had the same issue since June 7th. I have contacted support on twitter and they gave me the same instructions available here. It's driving me crazy constantly trying to reboot and troubleshoot the device, my phone and software.

also shows the same issues I'm having and around the same dates so the problem must be related but Fitbit don't seem to have a fix

My Charge 2 wants me to set it up!! I’ve been using it for 3 years, and now it won’t sync, or even recognize that it’s BEEN set up!!

I cant even get my Charge 2 to get to the set up screen. It refuses to reset at all. I have held the button down while it is in the charging port, but nope doesn't reset at all once I try to resync. It's like the Charge itself doesnt want to start over or reset.

@AlvaroFitbit thanks for the response. I've done all of that, as well as unpairing it with my devices, updated all software, and removed it from my Fitbit app. But in doing that, I was told that it allow me to set it up as a new device. It did not. When I go in to the app to "set up a new device" and it begins searching, it never finds my Charge 2, it asks if my Charge is powered on, it is. My Charge 2 never has the set up screen to progress through pairing it again. So it is unpaired and pretty useless at the moment, as I want to sync my data to track my progress and sleep etc.

I tried the suggestions below:
- removing all BT devices
- restarting phone
- resetting Charge 2
- even emptying cache
but no pairing!!
When scanning for BT devices the C2 is found; so it is not about seeing each other, it is really about the protocol. Please look into this in detail and stop with suggestions as restarting and resetting

Hi, I also have tried all your sugestions but it is still not syncing. My phone is Samsung A7.
Please let us know what to do, as tracker is useless now and it is frustrating 😞
