Charge 2 wristband keeps coming off

Please can you assist, I have had my Charge 2 since the beginning of January 2017 this year, I love it and wear it continuously ( well not when showering ! ) over the last month the wrist band keeps coming away on one side from the face. At first it would re attach but now it will not connect. Can you send a new strap please ?

many thanks

I have exactly the same problem, must be a manufacturing problem, mine started coming off every couple of days until tonight it actually broke, see photo.

I'm more annoyed than MJC4 as I've only had my Charge 2 since April this year!

I'm also having that same problem. New in 2017 and the band keeps popping off at the face for no reason. Were you able to get yours fixed?

Just replace it. I have had to replace my band in only a few months. It is not worth going thru Fitbit, just go and buy another.

@Skyy034 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Is the wristband showing any type of physical damage? Could you share a picture of this? If it is only falling off then try pulling the metal tab to the outside so it better secures the tracker. @GregJaxFL option is a good one too but before you purchase I suggest you try my idea.

Let me know how it goes!

Had my Charge2 since August 2017 and I'm having the same problem as others in that the wristband keeps coming off on one side only. I've tried adjusting the clip, put it back on so it clips into place, then move my wrist and it drops off again. There is no apparent damage to the strap and the other side is quite secure - any suggestions?

Prolem:  Wrist strap keeps coming loose from watch:

I find it amazing that as much as you pay for a fitbit, the Company ignores this type of condition.  A customer satisfaction fix should be initiated by fitbit, including a replacement band that will not break.  Poor service!

Same problem here. I've had my Charge 2 for a few months, and the strap has started regularly coming apart. I also now have a scratched screen from it landing on rocks one of the many times the strap came apart.

Same problem here and my charge 2 is less than 6 months old. No damage but the buckle side just keeps detaching.  Very disappointing to so quickly have such problems. Only hope fault is on the strap side not the face! Hard to figure where the problem lies.

Mine was a problem with the strap, replaced it and not had a problem since. As it’s under warranty, contact customer services and once you’ve sent in photographic evidence and receipt they’ll probably replace the strap

Mine as well is coming undone constantly.  It is extremely annoying.  I have only had it for less than a year.  When you pay that much for one, you shouldn't have to worry about it coming apart.

Have the same problem . When I studied the band closely the clasp seemed broken. I  have put on another strap that I have for it, the same is still happening,  I am now thinking it is the clasp on the watch is a problem,  can I manover that  and if so in which direction?

My band is  falling off to and I only got it in December for Christmas. With so many reporting it is it a common defect.

Fitbit won't do anything about the defective band.   They will only offer to sell you one.

I bought this one (or one like it) that is magnetic and I love it!  https://www.amazon.com/iGK-Replacement-Compatible-Stainless-Bracelet/dp/B07ZK4BDQ1/ref=sr_1_4?dchild...

This seems to be an ongoing problem. I had no luck getting the least bit of support from Fitbit, so we're moving on to a more reliable brand.

This is a definitive engineering issue for Fitbit that would cause me to not want to buy another product for fear of it just continuing to fall off.

Please can you tell me where I can buy a genuine fit bit replacement strap from. I’ve only had it a year and it I already broken. Many thanks
