My brand new Charge 3 was on my wrist for all of 28hrs when it suddenly shut down. Last I had checked, it was at a 93% battery. The app said it was a fully battery as well but couldn’t find it to sync. When I got home to my charger, it powered on with a 4% battery. Any reason as to why this might happen ?

Hi do you take it off to sleep at night? If so and you have the heart rate sensor is turned on make sure it is not on a light surface, and make sure if u have a metal band it is not to close to the sensor, I had the same issue with my battery draining really fast and I noticed one night my metal band was really close to the sensor so I moved it, and the green light vanished within seconds, I tried a little experiment and sure enough every time the band was close enough it would do the same thing so I made sure when my Fitbit was off my wrist that the band stayed away from the sensor.
I also noticed the same thing when I took it off to shower and it was on my white vanity so I expirimented again and learned that the sensor also stays on on light surfaces. My bedside table is dark so it isn’t an issue, but since keeping my band away from the sensor at night when I am sleeping I have found I have gone for a couple days battery life to the full 7 that is claimed. Keeping in mind, my Fiitbit goes on as soon as I get up, only comes off to shower then is taken off for bed and heart rate monitor is on, it’s only synced for notifcatiions when Bluetooth on my phone is actually turned on and it doesn’t have the pay feature, but I am forever looking at it through the course of the day
while this may not give you as much battery life because our circumstances are different, it should bring you better life.

I have been experiencing this same problem, my Charge 3 is only 5 months old and my battery dies after just three days(Sunday to Wednesday) I even disabled most of my apps but no luck with my battery life lasting any longer than three days so now I have to charge my charge 3

Mine just started draining rapidly. I am used to the charge lasting a week but now it lasts an hour.

I'm having the same problem. This is my first fitbit. The battery is supposed to last up to 7 days the guy at the store said. But the longest it has ever lasted me was 5 days. It's not 4 months old and it only lasts 3 days maximum. On Wednesday night it had 32% left, when I woke up the next morning it was completely dead. How it went through 32% in a single night is insane.

I've had the Fitbit charge 3 for two weeks and the battery is shutting off after less than a day ! 100% charged to dead in a day . Very disappointing that a brand new Fitbit is doing this . Thinking of returning it bc it's such a problem now - thought this would be a more reliable product, especially for that price !

My fitbit charge 3 has been fine for a couple of years, 7 days life until the other day. Now i'm lucky to get a few hours! The weird thing is, my partners Fitbit charge 3 is also starting to do the same and hers is a year newer than mine. Firmware update? Or Fitbit Charge 4 promotional service?

Same issue. Mine only charges to 99% and is down to 5% within 8 hours.

Same boat. My husband gave me my Charge 3 as a birthday gift in June 2019. It worked great until a few weeks ago. Now the battery drains so quickly that I have given up on using it as anything more than a digital watch, and I still have to charge it twice a day.
