Charge 3 Black Screen wont Sync

Ive plugged it in and held the button for 15s, turned it off, plugged it back in.

I get the smiley face but then the screen stays black. And if I touch the sides after it's unplugged the screen stays black but it'll vibrate and the smiley may come back but then its black and doesn't do anything. It seems it's not syncing but yet then my steps showed up on the app but it says it was synced over 4 hours ago and shows a ( ! ). It was working fine yesterday when I took it off.

This is my second Charge 3 that has failed due to a black screen.  The first one lasted just over one year and my second one was purchased 1-5-20 so it lasted only five months.  No more Fitbits for me.  This is so frustrating.  Now I will research Apple watches.  Good Bye Fitbit!!!
