Charge 3 - Black line across top of screen

My watch shows a small black line across the screen at the top, where the step count is on some faces and where the battery sign is when you open the stats.

 

tried resetting multiple times, doesn’t work.

Welcome to the Community @Lindsay54! I'm sorry to hear your Charge 3 developed the black line across top of screen. I was about to create a support case on your behalf, but I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and that they have helped you with this. 

 

Welcome on board @Juliez0707! If you're having the same issue, I'd recommend restarting your Charge 3. If the restart does not work, I suggest to try changing the clock face to a different one. Let me know if this helps you out.

Hi 

did you manage to get this resolved? I have same problem. I have 5 fine black lines at the top of my screen. Tried restarting it a few times, updating software and still there. Really disappointing a device less than 2 months old is already having this problem.

Hi

I got in touch with FItbit and they helped run me through a load of resets and diagnostics. Sadly the black line did not disappear so have returned the product.

I went and got mine exchanged.  Restarting didnt help so I got another one

Hi there 

Since yesterday I have also experienced the issue where I have a black line that has appeared at the top of the screen. It makes it hard to read the step count and the battery level.

Is there a solution to this?

I’m having the same issue. I’ve only had my Fitbit about 3 weeks. I purchased it from Kohl’s. Do I have to exchange it for another one?
