My watch shows a small black line across the screen at the top, where the step count is on some faces and where the battery sign is when you open the stats.
tried resetting multiple times, doesn’t work.

I've had mine just over a month and already I have a line at the top of mine. Please can someone tell me how to get rid of it.
Updates dont fix it, nor re setting.
Shall I take it back to the shop and get a replacement?

I haven't heard anything from Fitbit.
After reading all the posts on here about it, I'm just going to take it back to the shop where it was bought and change it, I wont be getting the Charge 3.
Shame on you Fitbit for making this with so many faults and not being able to fix them.
I have bought cheaper versions in the past, they do the same as the charge3 but were a lot cheaper....and had less faults, I thought a Fitbit even though it was much dearer would be better, but the only difference was the price.

I just noticed this on mine too. 4-5 lines at the top of my screen also. Tried the reset with no success

Ok, everyone, I had the exact same issue!
The solution?
Well, if your Fitbit is under 1 year old you are eligible for a replacement so contact Fitbit!
If not, all they suggest is a hard reboot before I got my replacement.

I wouldn't even bother messing about trying to get fitbit to reply to you, I had mone a few weeks and the line appeared, after reading all the comments here I got my partner to take it back to John Lewis where he bought it for me, he shown the assistant the line, straight away they gave him a refund.
Now I have the Versa, far better, battery life isn't as long but its bigger and can do more things.
Just take it back 🙂

Yeah only it a week today, only thing is I don't have the receipt but they should take it back as it's on their system. They told my gf that she didn't need a receipt as it's on system. If they take it back I think I'll get the versa too.

Did your gf get it online or in the shop? If it was online, u should be able to print proof of purchase, good luck 🙂

I also have the same issue with my charge 3. I noticed it a couple of days ago and I’m wondering how you can get rid of it. I have my Fitbit for 2 months now.

I've read lots of posts about the black line/s as I had the same issue, I havnt seen any post that says it was able to be fixed.
I'd get a refund then get a different one completely

guys Fitbit will get you a replacement if it is less than a year old-just email them!
I know because the same thing happened to me-then got a replacement and is now very happy with it

Mine had the same issue. I counted that as minimal since my unit stopped syncing with everything last week. Hopefully my new device does not have the same issues.

I emailed them and they are sending me another one for free. If I go to the shop that u got it will I get another one ?😂😂
