Charge 3 DND/Sleep menu keeps popping up and vibrating randomly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi my Fitbit charge 3 is less than a year old and the DND / Sleep mode keeps popping up. I can't navigate to the other menus as well while this is doing it. I've already tried restarting it as well as long restarting it but it hasn't fixed anything. The problem only started today. Is there any way to fix this? It's really getting annoying!

Mine did this for the first time last night... kept on vibrating and changing to thre DND and SLEEP page... without me touching any buttons...my heart rate has disappeared off the home screen and im left with  grey space where it should be... when the Fitbit was possessed last night and changing screens my heart rate reappeared and was going crazy....I was lying down at the time... showed me in hectic cardio mode and I ended up 'burning' 3015 cals from literally doing nothing... something is definitely up with the software and I wish we could get an answer !

  • My charger 3 is only 5 months old. Yesterday  it started with vibrating now stop, along with the screen going in and out now stop, the heartbeat is not accurate and not keeping a charge. I’m pretty sure I’m leaving something out and I tried restarting and nothing In fact it wouldn’t restart for  its own life.  I’m just lost for words now.

How does that help everyone else having this problem. A solution needs to be made to all on the posts.

I’ve got the same issue too, funny how this has happened to us all at the same time?? Is there a fix?

I have the same issue.  I think mine just received an update.  It's very annoying. It won't stop vibrating and showing DND, Sleep.

Exactly...which has left me to try to figure out myself because I never got a solution from CS. All they want is for you to buy another Fitbit.... I even unsynced my Charge 3 and deleted it from my account then set it up as a new device. It worked for 30 minutes then goes back to the same crap again. It skips into sleep mode randomly and makes me have an elevated bpm of 143 laying down or the bpm just disappeara altogether. Fitbit needs to send out a software update to fix this bug!

I already contacted CS and they unfortunately couldn't figure out how to fix it. So...just disappointing.

This is also happening to my Fitbit Charge 3.  Also had less than a year so don’t want to upgrade again but really annoying so not currently using it.

@Alexxxa74 Welcome to the Community.

Sorry to hear about this. Have you tried restarting your tracker, your post doesn't mention any troubleshoots. You can restart it by doing the following:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Hope this helps.

You must not have seen all my other comments on many different posts. Yes I have followed all the troubleshooting steps and all the guidance from your customer srvicebreps who weren't able to solve it either. Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5.

I had to go to support where it was deemed the Fitbit had had its day, got a discount to buy a new Fitbit.

Yes same here.
I was given a discount for use within 30 days.
I just stuck with old one with no display, frustrating at times.
